“When I first moved to Leeds, I didn't know anyone and lived by myself, so I found meeting people really difficult. Joining JCI Leeds changed all that – it was so easy to get involved and everyone was so welcoming.

The social side of JCI has been so brilliant because it helped me make so many new friends. That's why this year I chose to become the Social Director, so I could help new people become established in the city, just as JCI did for me.

The professional advantages of joining JCI have been important to me, I have got involved in organising several events, including our annual dinner last year."
