Meet the council team

President - Anil Champaneri
Anil is a qualified solicitor and Employment Adviser at Drury PSM. As this year's President he is responsible for the strategic planning and management of JCI Leeds. He's passionate about the work we do and is looking forward to raising awareness of the organisation in 2012.

International Director - Tim Metcalfe
Tim runs his own software company Metcalfe Services Limited. As International Director his role is to promote and encourage our members to attend regional, national and international events. A member of JCI Leeds for over 10 years, he enjoys the social and networking sides of the organisation.

Community Director - Alex Byers
Alex is a Company Director for a Hospital Planning Consultancy business. As 2012 Community Director for JCI Leeds she is enjoying being part of a highly motivated Council Team and is looking forward to all the events of 2012 in JCI Leeds

Joint Social Director - Dan Taylor
Daniel is in his final year at Leeds University studying Human Resource Management. He joined JCI Leeds in early 2010 and quickly became heavily involved in the Social Team, which is going to have an exciting 2012! His hobbies include playing football, rock climbing and playing Bass guitar.

Immediate Past President - Claire Dempster
Claire works in marketing and communications and joined the council team as Marketing Director in 2007. Knowing that you 'get out what you put in' to JCI she took on the role of President for 2010 and is looking forward to continuing to build our profile and increase our membership in Leeds.

Business Director - Christian Hellmund
Christian is a trainee solicitor at Walker Morris and joined the 2009 council team after moving to Leeds in 2008. As this year's Business Director he's responsible for managing our relationships with Corporate Partners and Individual and Business Patrons. He also sits on the National Board.

Marketing Director - Ryan Webster
Ryan is a Social Media Consultant at the leading Leeds based Social Media Consultancy V Social . He joined the council team in November 2009 and is this year's Marketing Director, responsible for all online communications in 2012, which includes managing our weekly email, social media and website updates.

Membership Director - Danielle Winfield
Danielle joined JCI Leeds in January 2012 and is a Portfolio Manager in Commercial Banking. Danielle is responsible for managing existing members and generating new membership opportunities within the Leeds area.
